Atus Backs Tinubu to Defeat Terrorism
Ismaila Atus, the Director-General of the Atum Humanitarian, Anti-Corruption and Charitable Initiative (AHACCI), has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ability to overcome the severe security challenges facing Nigeria. He is optimistic that the administration will defeat terrorism, banditry, and other forms of violent criminality.
Atus shared his positive outlook during a media interaction held on Wednesday. His statement comes amidst heightened public concern over a recent spate of abductions that have affected Niger, Kebbi, Kano, and Kwara states in the past week alone.
Reacting to the pervasive insecurity, Atus called upon all Nigerians to offer their full support to President Tinubu and the country’s security architecture. He stressed that collective backing is essential to defeat the insurgents.
He strongly urged Nigerians not to lose faith in the administration’s dedicated efforts to tackle the complex security challenges confronting the nation.
“We all know what happened in this country. There were several cases of kidnapping and many other issues. But under President Tinubu, I am optimistic things will improve,” Atus stated.
He maintained that the President is genuinely “doing everything possible to fix the country” and requires patience and cooperation from the populace.
“We should give him more time. That is why we are asking for his re-election for a second term,” Atus announced, linking continued progress to the President’s extended tenure. He believes that with this commitment, Nigeria will achieve a better future.
Atus concluded by confirming his organization’s support for the President’s vision: “He is putting all his energy into building the country. We will support him for a second-term re-election so the progress can continue.”
