A routine evening of academic preparation turned into a night of total devastation for the family of Mr. and Mrs. Godwin Nwosu in Umuahia, Abia State. Her husband, Mr. Godwin Nwosu, who earns a living as a tricycle operator in the capital city, expressed deep despair over the timing of the disaster. He lamented that every bit of progress the family had worked for throughout 2025 vanished in a matter of hours. For a man who spends his days navigating the streets of Umuahia to provide for his household, seeing his life’s labor turn to ash was a crushing blow.
