Tyson Fury Predicts Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul Fight Will Go the Distance
Former boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has predicted that the controversial bout between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul will not end in an early knockout, but rather go the full distance to be decided on points.
Dependable NG reports that the heavyweight contest, which is scheduled for eight three-minute rounds with both fighters wearing 10oz gloves, will take place next Friday, December 19, in Miami. The fight has generated widespread debate among boxing experts and fans alike.
Speaking to OOOsch TV about the upcoming match, Fury offered his prediction: “I think it will go the distance. I think it will be a move around and a points job, absolutely.”
Fury went on to address the common skepticism surrounding the YouTube star turned boxer, urging critics to acknowledge Paul’s abilities. He added: “I understand people’s concerns but they have to start believing in Jake. They don’t believe because they can’t get their head around how he beat those guys.” The fight against Joshua, a former two-time unified heavyweight champion, represents Paul’s most significant professional challenge to date.
