Popular Nigerian comedian turned musician, Nasboi, has declared that he would unequivocally choose money over fame if given the choice in his next life.
Dependable NG reports that Nasboi made this known on Sunday while discussing his future retirement plans and his increasing dissatisfaction with the pressures of celebrity status. The singer, who admitted regretting prioritizing fame over wealth in his career, vowed never to make the same choice again.
Expressing his desire to quit the entertainment industry, Nasboi cited the overwhelming stress of fame as the major factor influencing his decision.
He stated his financial goal for leaving the spotlight via a post on X (formerly Twitter): “I will choose to have money over being famous. I no fit try this kind of thing for my next life again.”
He then outlined his precise retirement benchmark: “Once my money completes 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again. No skit, no music, and no acting. Make the brain rest.”
